Envirovision Solutions was formed in late 2002 with the goal of applying the many advances in computerized vision systems within the commercial sphere, leveraging the advantages that such systems offer to enhance the productivity, efficiency and reliability of its clients.

Spearheaded by Dr Gavin Hough, a PhD in Physics, who developed the initial algorithms during his research on atmospheric phenomena in the Antarctic, EVS has, with the help of a team of talented engineers, technical staff and business partners, developed these algorithms into robust, extendable, field-tested vision systems for a variety of applications. From fire early-detection systems to systems for tracking factory emission levels to harbor surveillance and security monitoring, EVS is always looking for new ways to apply its expertise.
